The Right Way to Wax your Chest

Hairy Men were considered to be macho once upon a time. It is not so any more. The clean and lean look is in once more. Waxing hair off the chest will give you a well groomed look especially if you like to sport the bare bodied look occasionally. The entire procedure of waxing your chest may not prove to be absolutely painless but it will certainly improve with time and you will love the clean and smooth chest once you finish waxing.

The first step that needs to be done is to trim your chest hair real short. You will find the whole process impossibly painful if you decide to proceed with the waxing by ripping out hairs up to 2 inches in length.

You now need to heat the wax now before spreading it evenly all over your chest. However, you also need to remember that there are two types of chest wax readily available in the market. One of them has to be covered with paper strips after being spread. Following the instructions on the package of chest wax will help you to get a general idea of how to do it the right way. Most commercially available waxes are microwave friendly as well. It is a simple matter to just pop them into the oven and use them whenever required.

Keep the wax covered with strips of thin paper or just leave it on as it is for some time. Now is the time to peel back each strip of paper quickly. Be sure to pull it in an opposite direction to the hair growth. The hairs are ripped off the chest along with the paper. You are bound to feel some pain if you are trying it out for the first time. However, the pain lessens with each subsequent session and a time will come soon when you will hardly feel a twinge. The hair growth is known to thin out after waxing as well.

Apply a light moisturizer to your entire chest and help the skin to recover from the effects of waxing. It is also a good idea to roam around bare chested for a couple hours immediately after waxing. You also need to avoid abrasive materials particularly the feel of wool against your chest.
