Tattoos can be Removed
Most of us love to follow the latest trends as far as beautification is concerned. The concepts of beauty change over time and what is considered beautiful today may not remain so tomorrow. If you look back you may often regret the wild and whacky things that you did in your teenage years. A lot of things that seemed ‘cool’ then may actually turn out to be embarrassing now. You may have fancied a tattoo then, but the very same tattoo makes you cringe in embarrassment when you look at it now. But aren’t tattoos permanent? Is there a way to remove them? Let’s find out…
Tattoo Cover Up- If you are desperate about concealing the tattoo already etched up in your skin, but don’t want to spend too much of time or money on it, just go in for a cover up. Find a good tattoo artist and instruct him on covering up your old tattoo with a brand new one. You need a slightly darker color this time or else your original mark may reveal itself from under the camouflage. The new tattoo should preferably be wider and more detailed than your first one. Only then you can be certain of hiding contents of your original tattoo effectively.
Laser Removal- You can get rid of the tattoo by opting for a laser removal. The laser is directed on to your tattoo and succeeds in breaking up the ink from the surface of your skin. The process may require a few sittings in order to be really effective. It also depends on the quality of ink and the color used. However, the process may be painful and cause pigmentation or scarring of your skin too.
Dermabrasion- This process is usually done with the help of an abrasive device aimed at your tattooed skin. Be careful to go to a certified medical practitioner when opting for this method. Your skin will be sterilized and the whole process will take place under local anesthesia. It may leave you with extensive scarring and discoloration of the area.
