Eating crunchy raw fruits like carrot sticks, celery and apples can remove stains and act as a natural whitening agent for your teeth. Chewing on sugarless gum also helps to produce increased amounts of saliva thereby brightening the surface of your teeth.

Making yoghurt a part of your daily diet is also beneficial for your dental hygiene. It helps to eliminate the bacteria responsible for producing foul smelling breath and acts as a mouth freshener.
