Solutions for Veiny Hands
Aging is a fact of life and no human being can stay young forever. Yet we often go overboard trying out this cream or that pill in order to reverse the natural process of aging. Most women do not realize that looking young is not confined to the face alone. More often than not, its her hands that may give away her real age. The skin of the hand tends to shrivel quickly and the veins lying just under the surface become prominent. Cosmetics cannot hide veiny hands. If you want to get rid of it, its time to look at the other solutions currently available.
Dermal fillers: An injection of various dermal fillers beneath the skin of your hands can work wonders. Common dermal fillers may include collagen tissue, hyaluronic acid or fat from a donor. Fat can also be taken from other parts of the recipients body. This process needs almost no recovery time and is much less expensive than cosmetic surgery.
Chemical peels: Also known a dermal peeling, this process involves application of chemical solutions on the affected skin of your hands. The skin then blisters and peels off causing regeneration of fresh skin. This new skin is much smoother in appearance and the skin does not look as wrinkled. However, this newly generated skin can be sensitive to sunlight.
Microdermabrasion- This is a skin freshening technique which the cosmetic surgeon performs by spraying tiny crystals all over the ageing skin. A suction action is then used to remove the dead and abraded skin. The skin has a polished appearance after undergoing Microdermabrasion. Consequently the veins become less noticeable.
Sclerotherapy- This is a specific procedure aimed at removing spider veins and other minute blood vessels. This process can be used for treating varicose veins as well.
Laser vein removal: Veins can be removed by means of laser too. This offers a more permanent solution for veiny hands.
