Remove Scar Marks with Home Remedies
A healthy and glowing, radiant face can work wonders in upholding our self esteem. But most of us are not blessed with a blemish free skin and trying to hide behind a mask of make up looks unnatural. A few of us are extremely sensitive about deep scars and birth marks that mar our countenance. An injury mark, deep acne spots or marks left by allergy need special attention when we use make up on our face.
Waterproof Creams- A variety of creams and lotions can be used to cover up these hideous marks temporarily. Most of them are waterproof in nature and needs to be applied quite liberally over the scars. However, they are not beneficial for us in the long run. The chemicals present within such cover up creams create a temporary layer on the skin making the marks vanish for a time. Continuous or prolonged usage of such products makes the marks dark and incurable. It is therefore better to try and get rid of such scars permanently without attempting to hide them.
Home Remedies for curing scars- There are several ways of minimizing the ugly scars that spoil your look. Application of several ingredients, available easily at home is a better option than going in for harsh chemical based medicinal ointments.
Fresh injury marks when treated with Aloe Vera gel prevents scar formation. A paste of sandalwood and rosewater can be applied on the scars and kept overnight for effective lightening of the marks. Sandalwood acts as an astringent while the rosewater smoothens the skin considerably.
Washing the face with freshly squeezed lemon juice will certainly help in keeping your face blemish free as well as prevent darkening of the scars. Bleaching properties of lemon help in lightening the skin as well.
Regular application of both lavender oil and honey over the scarred region of your skin will help you to get rid of all old scar and acne marks over a period of time.
Application of cucumber daily also helps in getting rid of the ugly scars that disfigure your face.
