Reduce the Heat in your Body Naturally
Once the summer arrives you feel really hot and your body temperature also rises. You are constantly trying to cool yourself either by sitting in an air conditioned room or by sipping cold drinks. However there are lots of ways to beat the heat in your body and help you feel cool.
What you eat and drink has a direct effect on your body no matter what the season. So in the summer time you can mix an equal proportion of milk and water and have it like a drink. The water should be colder than the milk. This helps reduce heat in the body. Another option is to soak together one teaspoon each of fennel seeds and coriander seeds with some sugar. Put all this an about two glasses of water and leave it for up to six hours. Strain it and drink this through the day for a cooling effect.
Water that is charged is very beneficial and is good for reducing body heat. It is very easy to do. You need to fill a glass with water and cover it with green cellophane paper and keep it in the sun for about fifteen minutes. Your water is being charged. Drink this water. It is also healthier for your body.
If you feel excessively hot try applying sandalwood paste on your forehead for fifteen minutes. It cools your entire body. Wash your face with rose water not regular water and add some rose water to your bath as well. It keeps you feeling fresh for longer.
Also a good idea to feel a good chill is to keep your t shirt in the fridge for an hour and then wear it. You will feel the coolness of it all over your body. Make sure to put it in a packet and then in the fridge so that it does not smell.
Reduce your intake of oil and fried foods as they contribute to excess heat in the body. Instead go for the fruits that are higher in water content. These are some things that can cool you off in the summertime.
