If you need to pick up something from the ground, do not bend directly. Instead, bend your knees and lower your body to pick it up. If you can use your legs to pick up things, allow them to do the work.
If an object is too heavy to be picked up, it is better to drag it with your legs rather than carry the weight and ruin your back. Even when you sit, make sure your chair is aligned properly with your back.
Wearing of high heels by women does a lot of damage in the long run. Even if you need to wear it, do not wear it for long periods of time. The higher the heel, the more the strain in the back.
You need to check your mattress, as if it is too soft, it will only cause you discomfort to your back. The harder the mattress, the stronger will be your back.
Women lose a lot of calcium after the birth of their baby, so you will need to drink a lot of milk and eat foods which are rich in calcium. You could also take calcium supplements.
