Apples, bananas, leafy veggies and beans make great fiber rich foods.
You can also choose whole grains. These contain insoluble fibers that help to relieve you of constipation. You can also try prunes which are rich in nutrients and has a lot of fiber as well. You must have a tab on prune consumption as it is believed to become addictive.
You must also limit the intake of antacids. You must alter your diet in such a way that you do not suffer from acidity or heart burn. This is because many antacid medications can trigger constipation in some people. Healthy eating habits are better than resorting to the use of herbal medications or supplements to eliminate the problem of constipation. This is because some of the natural herbs can make you addicted. This also means that constipation can return once you stop using the herb or the supplement.
Regular physical exercise is also extremely important if you want to be free of this problem. Working out can give immense health benefits and one among them is a strong digestive system.
