Natural Cure for Athletes Foot
Athlete’s foot is most commonly caused when you do not change your footwear often, and do not allow your feet to breathe. You need to take care of it and avoid catching an infection with simple things that can be done at home.One can get athlete’s foot at any time. You may find the skin on your feet beginning to crack, and you may get blisters and burning sensations on your feet. You may have to stay at home and rest it out, and be quite careful so that the infection does not get worse.
A good way to cure this problem is to dip the feet in water into which a little salt has been added. Once you remove your feet from the water after about ten or fifteen minutes, you will find that the feet have become softer and the pores have opened up. This is a good time to apply any anti fungal powder or cream.
Athlete’s foot can also appear between the toes due to lack of air that can reach there. A good thing to apply between the toes is a paste make mixing baking soda with a bit of water. Apply this on the fungus and leave it to dry. You can apply any powder to help it dry up more quickly.
Always make sure that you keep your toenails free from dirt and grime. Clean them every two or three days. Once the athlete’s foot is getting cured, remove all traces of dead skin which may be visible on the foot. Clean the area between the toes with a small brush, and after you have scrubbed your feet, make sure to wash away any extra dirt or skin that may get stuck to any part of the body.
Try and wear perforated shoes or open shoes rather than tight, closed footwear which will make you perspire more. Also keep changing the footwear that you use and keep the footwear in the sun to dry out, especially if you find that your perspire more in the heat. You can also apply the anti fungal treatment cream into your shoes before you wear them.
