Hence they can help us to maintain higher levels of fitness and be energetic throughout the day. Also such foods are high in fiber content. Hence they make us feel fuller and help in easy bowel movement and general good health and complexion. Another advantage of consuming these foods is that they are low calorie and low fat food items. However they are rich in the essential minerals and vitamins. Research has proven that a diet which has plenty of good carbs can safeguard human beings against many lifestyle diseases such as cancer.

By eating such foods, you may not feel energetic or active as they can leave you with a feeling of lethargy whole through the day. These foods are very high calorie foods and come in large portion sizes. They may no doubt taste good but cannot lead to satisfaction of hunger. You may be longing to eat again after a short interval of time prior to eating such food stuffs. In this way you will end up eating more because these food stuffs may not satiate your hunger at all.
