Importance of Daily Foot care

Beauty is about your overall grooming from tip to toe. So having beautiful feet is as important as a beautiful face. However in our daily beauty care, feet are generally the most neglected part.

Like other body parts it deserves daily care and pampering to keep them healthy and beautiful. And neglecting it results in ugly cracks, fungal infections and rough dry feet.

Dirty Feet  as home for diseases

Apart from the beauty aspect, keeping clean feet is very important for our overall health. Feet are carrier of all kind of germs and bacterias like our hands.

While we use all kind of sanitizer for our hands, we often ignore the cleaning of our feet which carry more germs and is more prone to infection.

So it is very important to clean our feet daily after coming back to home and before going to bed with antiseptic liquid or soap.

Pedicure at Home

A weekly pedicure is very important for your healthy and beautiful feet and you can do at home.

Take a tub and put hot water. The temperature must be within the tolerance level of your feet.  Put two spoons of shampoo, one table spoon of baking powder and one spoon of coconut oil. Soak your feet for about 15 minutes and rub off the dead skins gentle with pumice stone or foot foiler.

Wipe it with clean towel and massage it gently with a foot cream. Sticking to this weekly regime will help you to keep cracks away from your feel and will keep them soft and supple like rest of your body.

Protect your feet from sun

It is also very important to protect feet from sun tan. It will be always good to wear stockings before going out in sun. Else you can apply a sunscreen lotion before stepping out in sun.

Walking barefoot on the green grass for 2 to 5 minutes is very good for your feet. However you must do it in the morning when grass it wet with dews. After the walk wash off your feet properly.

These little daily cares will leave your feet healthy and beautiful.
