How to apply concealers

Who does not want a flawless skin, free from all sorts of skin blemishes. However not everyone is lucky to get spotless and clear skin. For those who have got scars, skin blemishes can, the situation is not that difficult. There are many good concealers available in the market and you can minimize those dirty spots from your face with clever makeup and by the proper application of concealer.First of all wash your face with a mild face oil free face wash or homemade cleanser. Pat your skin dry with a soft tissue If your skin is oily then wipe off the extra oil with cotton dipped in rosewater. If your skin is dry then use some good moisturizer. Always remember that concealer works best with properly hydrated skin.

If you have got ugly dark circles under your eyes then apply a good under eye cream or lotion so that they remain soft. If your skin lacks moisturizer the concealer will crack.

Now identify the problem areas and spots and check if they have enough moisturizer. You can go for tinted moisturizer which is one tone lighter than your skin tone. The same applies for concealers also use concealers which are lighter than your skin tone. Also liquid concealers are best even when your skin is oily.

Now use concealer with concealer brush or finger tips on the problem areas directly so that they cover it completely.  Now pat and blend it with brush or your finger tips.

After that you use a compact powder and apply it on your face to set the makeup. Compact powder works on all kind of skin and is best for oily skin which is more prone to skin blemishes. Your compact powder must match your skin tone so that it looks natural and not plastic one. The same thing applies to hide the under eye dark circles.

See if the concealer and foundation has blended well with your skin. If necessary re-apply it where required. Clean up extra foundation or compact powder with a wet sponge gently to give it a very natural look.
