These days everyone knows about eating healthy and losing weight. But what most of you does not know is the fact that even smart women make mistakes while selecting their eating habits. There are many things which you could be doing wrong which could actually be derailing your health. Here is a list of health mistakes even smart women make.
1.) You always order for salads. While you may be making the right move by ordering a salad in whichever restaurant you go, the fact is that these salads are equivalent to a burger in a bowl. For instance, the dressings on these salads are rich in many calories, fat and many unhealthy nutrients and provide as much as 540 calories. Well, just don’t rule out salad from your menu, only take precautions while ordering and stay off from high fat add-ons.
2.) You ignore the scales. Most women avoid their scales more than their treadmills. It can also be termed as scale-phobia. Most of the women would rather avoid the sight of increased weight and thus they tend to avoid it. While some women get obsessed and check their weight as much as three times a day, some women prefer to stay away. Well, in case you wish to lose weight, check your weight at least once in a week.
3.) You don’t sleep properly. Women consider their sleep to be the best thing to cut down on when they are busy but lack of sleep is one thing which is highly responsible for a deteriorating health. Sleeping for at least 6 to 8 hours is very important for a perfect health.
4.) You assume that home cooked food is always healthier. Usually more calories mount in the home cooked food as the servings tend to be larger. When you cook pizzas and macaronis at home, that clearly doesn’t mean that they will have fewer calories.
Just keep a check on your diet and don’t ignore minute details.
