Adding vitamin C in way of fresh citrus fruits and vegetables is the best possible way of combating an ear infection. Vitamin supplements will also serve you if you are unable to eat the proper food every day. Including zinc in your daily diet will help to reduce ear infections too. However, it is best to avoid dairy products like milk, butter and cheese if you are already suffering from an infection because they may aggravate the condition.
Cleaning- Washing your ears periodically is a good idea as the process will help to clean out your ear thoroughly making it free of wax, grime and dirt. Using plugs to protect your ears when you go for a swim or a dive will help to keep your ears healthy. Exposure to extremes of heat and cold may be detrimental for the functioning of your ear as well.
