Depending on the type of surgery you plan to undergo, the price may vary between $6000 and $10,000.

Face lift surgeries are of four types namely standard face lift, mid face lift, Thread face lift and mini face lift. There are four main types of face lift surgeries you can opt for. The standard Face Lift surgery is done on the lower portion of the face. This surgery corrects wrinkles in the face region and sagging signs in the neck area. A mid Face Lift corrects troublesome areas in the cheek and lower eyelid areas.

The mini Face Lift is used to treat problems such as wrinkles or lines in a particular area of the face. Such a surgery involves a lesser price and lesser recovery time. In the thread face lift, small threads are used to smoothen the skin by inserting them into the skin layer. In such a surgery you will be fully conscious and can see the procedure being performed. Also scarring is very less in this type of surgery. This surgery also takes lesser time generally spanning only up to 2 hours or so.

There may be some side effects or risks associated with a face lift surgery. However these may be temporary. Fluid retention and swelling may accompany all these types of facial lift procedures but they usually subside. Scarring and numbness may take place in some cases which may be more permanent risks. Some fact lift surgeries can lead to nerve damage but these are rare and minimal.

Other than these some people can also develop external bleeding, bleeding under the skin that may necessitate a procedure to stall the blood flow etc. Infections are also a possibility as a result of face lift procedures.

A vast majority of people go for the minimal incision procedures otherwise known as short scar neck and face lifts. These can be carried out in the hospital under local anesthesia.
