Enliven your Nails with Attractive Designs

Painted nails look beautiful. If you are fastidious about keeping your nails well maintained and attractive, you must be painting them in attractive shades every so often. However, even the most vibrant of all colors begins to lose its sheen after a couple of days making you think that you need to pep up your nails just a bit more. But what else can you do except paint them in solid bright colors? There is actually a  lot more that you can opt for. Why not give in to the creative artist in you and add some unique designs to your painted nails as well. Let’s see what needs to be done now…

The first step is taking a firm decision regarding the design that you hope to see on your nails. Put them down on paper first. It is always better to start with a relatively simple design. Popular yet easy to draw designs are flowers, dots or stripes. Uneven squiggles on your nails will make them look attractive too.

The next part is actually drawing them on the surface of your nails. Use a contrasting color and paint on the design with the end of a nail polish brush. You can use a toothpick for printing thin stripes on to your nails as well.

You need to wait till the solid base nail polish applied to your nails is dry. The designs need to be painted with care and patience is the key if you want people to envy your beautifully and artistically painted nails. However, you might choose to add a design only to the middle finger nail initially.

Creating a flower  in the middle of your nail might need some practice. The simplest way is to paint a dot bang in the center of your nail. Wait for it to dry before adding smaller dots around the centrally placed prominent dot. You can add small lines with a toothpick to make leaves or other designs around the painted flower. However, its best to avoid complicated designs if you are an amateur at creating nail designs. Polka dots or stripes enliven the nails apart from being easy to create.
