Nuts are another best snack item for diabetics. They contain healthy fats which are also good in terms of heart health. They make you feel full faster because of the rich fiber content. You can choose nuts such as cashews, almonds and walnuts. You must make sure to eat only a handful of nuts daily because they can also be high on calories. You can also include non-fat yogurt and milk which are suitable diabetic snacks.
