Benefits of a high fiber diet
Health conscious people prefer to consume a high fiber diet these days because of the numerous advantages that comes with such a diet. A high fiber diet comprises of food containing high fiber. It can also reduce hunger pangs by making you feel fuller for a longer period of time. Thus this diet type can protect against obesity. You can include high fiber foods such as wheat bran, whole wheat breads, whole grains, carrots, cabbage, turnips, brussel sprouts, apple skin, cauliflower etc that are fully loaded with fiber. By including these fiber foods you can prevent constipation. Other fiber rich foods are peas, oats, citrus fruits, rice bran, apple pulp, strawberries and others that are loaded with soluble fiber.
